1. Who we are
MyTaxBridge is operated by Amelia (GB) Ltd (company number 07124049), registered office 76 High Street, Colliers Wood, London SW19 2BY. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the service and are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed).
- Filing data: company details, officers, PSCs, addresses, dates of birth and identity codes required for Companies House and HMRC forms.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Identity-verification data where KYC is required, handled by our verification provider.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and usage logs.
3. How and why we use it
We use your data to provide the filing service, prepare and submit forms to Companies House and HMRC, process payments, verify identity where required, secure the platform and meet our legal obligations. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only as needed to run the service: Companies House and HMRC (to submit your filings), Stripe (payments), our identity-verification provider (KYC), and our hosting and email providers. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep filing and financial records for as long as required by UK company and tax law (generally at least six years), and other data for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in, protect the service (CSRF) and remember your language preference. Our analytics is cookieless.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and access is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
